Retired professional actress. Co-founder of Theatre Arts Group, Cambria, Ca. Artistic Director Pasadena Dinner Playhouse.
Founder Studio Theatre School of Acting. Member Board of Directors Art League of Lincoln. Director Performing Arts Advisory Committee of Art League of Lincoln. If you lived in a major city 1960's and 1970's and went to the theatre, you probably saw me in a play! If you were in New York during those years you might have seen me off-Broadway or at the Booth Theatre in a terrible play called "A Place For Polly." If you went to the Sacramento Music Circus in 1976 you saw me as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz! I love my life in the theatre.

Susan Gillespie
Susan has been giving life to people on paper for a long time. She wrote, directed and performed her first play while in elementary school--the audience included the family pets. The acting bug didn't bite hard until college, but she never had the ambition and drive to try to turn it into a real job. Her favorite roles have been mom, wife, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Susan has written, directed, performed and worked behind the scenes in many productions, big and not so big. She entertains the residents at Sierra Piointe every chance she gets with a "woman in history" program, a storytelling, or just an impromptu dance in the hallway.

Madam Director Jesness suggested a 100-word limit to bios. I just wasted ten …no thirteen …wait …see how fast life goes? One word at a time and at the end you have a little bio. I have a mad passion for all things theater! I’ve played many roles; directed many productions; won a few awards…you don’t want to hear the details; I produce The Phil Cowan Show weekday mornings on KTKZ; I’m married; my ‘child’ is a woman; I’m on my second kidney transplant, a gift from my little brother; I’m a Christian; and an Air Force Retired Vet. There… my little bio! I hope Love, Loss, and What I Wore will make you laugh out loud because as Will Rogers once said, ‘We are all here for a spell; get all the good laughs you can’!”
Maggie Celeste Worden

Has been acting since she was a little girl... "It wasn't till I took off my own mask that I found out who I really was!" Growing up on film sets, years as a radio host and producer, and a stint as a Middle School Teacher have given Maggie Celeste a deeper and more compassionate understanding of Character. "Radio was great, being in charge of adolescents was life-threatening, but the thrill of a live audience - the Energy - nothing compares!"
Joyce Rule
Artist, Joyce Rule, admits having had no particular ambition, except to marry a prince, have fun, and dance like Cinderella. She studied theater. On her Mom’s advice, she added a teaching degree so she’d be home summers with the kids that, of course, she’d have. She did teach, but quit when she began thinking twelve-year-olds should be frozen and not thawed out until they turned twenty!
She opened a thriving interior design business, turned volunteer fundraising into paid consulting and won a national event-planning award. Now, she enjoys writing, presenting seminars, dancing with her prince and trying out for plays!

Renee Bettencourt

When Renee isn't working with animals as a Veterinary Technician or with people on their way in to the OR as an Anesthesia Technician, her two dogs and two cats allow her and her husband Cory to reside in their home in Lincoln. This is her first foray onto the stage since high school, and she is very excited to have been cast in such an amazing play with some amazing women.
